Varanasi, India is one of the poorest areas of the world and lots of children have no access to proper care and education. The Nanhe Sitare school is born out of the need for basic education for the poorest kids of Varanasi. We take care of these children as a non official school program and provide them with a conducive environment for growth and development . Not only do they learn academic skills, they are also being taught many other life-skills like good hygiene, communication and art. We want to boost confidence and teach them how to establish and maintain healthy friendships, and help them learn how to work together as a team, which is a primary tenet of any successful society.
